Among all joints, it is the knees that are most often injured - due to falls, sports injuries or unexpected high loads. Inflammation of the joint or microcracks in it are especially common due to excessive activity and excessive loads in the gym.
How will compression hosiery help my knees?
Bandages are worn to recover from injuries, during rehabilitation after surgery, or to correct joint problems and pathologies.

In general, compression has a number of important functions for joint recovery:
  • 1
    Stabilizes the load, reducing damage with each step;
  • 2

    Makes it easier on the knees and takes some of the body weight;

  • 3

    Accelerates the recovery of the joint itself and soft tissues;

  • 4

    Gently adjusts the injured joint so that healing takes place properly and without displacement;

  • 5

    Provides protection to the joint under increased stress (overweight, sports and running);

  • 6
    Reduces pain associated with knee injury or disease.
And this is not a complete list of benefits that the kneepads bring both during rehabilitation and in everyday life. At the same time, they have very few contraindications - they cannot be used only by people who have problems with the skin of the legs (inflammation, suppuration) or vessels (thrombosis, varicose veins).
Indications for use
Knee pads are an excellent remedy for minor knee injuries, a way to relieve joint pain, and an important part of rehabilitation after sprains and bruises.

Knee pads should be on hand if you have:

  • Diseases or injuries to your knee joints.
  • Excess weight that results in increased stress on your knees.
  • Difficult working conditions - having to stand or walk, working in a cold room or in a place with wind and drafts.
  • Excessive physical activity that is dangerous for the knees: heavy lifting, running or long hikes.

In addition to relieving pain and strain, the kneecap provides gentle, stable pressure on the tissues, which accelerates blood circulation and warms the injured area. This, combined with the necessary rest, accelerates tissue regeneration after injury.

Knee pads also work well as a preventive measure. They protect against injuries (especially secondary injuries after tissue damage due to unstable joint function) as well as complications during rehabilitation.
