Compression garments are medical devices (socks, stockings, tights) that create a certain pressure on the vein walls and thus improve the flow of blood from the legs towards the heart. They can be made of different materials and provide compression of different degrees (A, I or II) on the vascular wall.
In the early stage of varicose veins (with minor dilation of the lower leg veins), patients with sensitive skin will find Cotton Comfort medical compression socks suitable. They are made of
cotton (60%), nylon (28%) and Lycra (12%). Organic cotton in their composition (also called bio-cotton) does not irritate and does not rub the skin, prevents sweating.
Cotton Comfort socks provide Class I compression (18-21 mmHg) and can be used for symptoms such as:- increased leg fatigue;
- slight swelling in the evening;
- vascular asterisks and capillary networks on the legs.
