Problems with veins

Chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, leg swelling—all of these conditions require compression, otherwise blood will begin to pool in the veins and the disease will progress. Instead of ready-made medical knitwear, you can use an elastic bandage with an elasticity of more than 170%. Its advantages:

  • the degree of compression is adjusted manually (by the number of turns and the density of the winding);
  • does not restrict movement;
  • does not overheat the skin.

Lauma Medical high-stretch bandages provide gentle compression and are suitable for daily use. When bandaged correctly, they work just as well as ready-made compression hosiery (e.g., knee-highs or stockings), but are significantly cheaper.

Compression bandage after surgery

After liposuction, mammoplasty, or implant placement, it is important to secure the tissue in the correct position and prevent hematomas (bruises) from forming. Lauma Medical bandages are perfect for this task:

  • they fit snugly and “press” the tissues;
  • they do not interfere with blood flow;
  • they do not slip when moving thanks to metal clips that hold them in place.

They are a convenient alternative to compression hosiery, especially in the first few days after surgery.

Bandage for sports injuries

Bruises, sprains, ligament tears, and joint instability are common occurrences in sports. And tape or orthotics are not always available during training. In this case, a highly stretchable elastic bandage can be used as a substitute. Its advantages for athletes include:

  • easy to apply;
  • provides adequate support and compression;
  • retains elasticity even under intense stress;
  • suitable for “uneven” surfaces – wrists, ankles, elbows, and knees.

Please note: Lauma Medical elastic bandages are wear-resistant and do not irritate the skin even during active movement.

Soft orthosis for chronic joint pain

For joint pain, instability, or simply increased stress, an elastic, highly stretchable bandage can easily replace a soft orthosis. It is suitable for:

  • knee pain;
  • shoulder instability;
  • arthrosis.

An elastic bandage can also be used for prevention if joint overload is expected. It adapts to the anatomical features of the joints, does not restrict movement, does not require size selection, and can be used every day if necessary.

An alternative to compression hosiery during pregnancy

Swollen feet during pregnancy are very common. However, compression socks and stockings are not comfortable for everyone. In this situation, a highly elastic bandage is a comfortable alternative for expectant mothers. They are made of cotton (96%) and elastane (4%), which means they will not rub or irritate the skin or cause sweating.

Please note: medical elastic bandages serve reliably throughout pregnancy without losing their quality or elastic properties.
