Designed to unload the surgical suture by fixing the anterior wall of the abdomen.
The slightly elastic waistband is marked with a piece of white tape attached to a horizontal Velcro strip on the outside of the waistband.
The belt is also used in the postpartum period to secure the anterior wall of the abdomen. Two additional fasteners at the back of the belt give it additional stability.
